ADVENTURE LEARNING AT PINE SUMMIT
A place known for its resort style amenities, Big Bear Lake is also rich with pine and oak forests flourishing in an alpine environment. The area provides a natural habitat for approximately 30 wintering bald eagles and 29 species of rare plants. Stay close to home, yet feel like you’ve traveled thousands of miles away…Our ALPS (Adventure Learning at Pine Summit Program) is a great way for students to learn in nature’s classroom.
Through hands-on activities, interactive games, and observation students will explore God’s creation and experience nature up close and personal.
The outdoors offers an exciting learning environment that is utilized to engage students in the learning process. Our courses contain the valuable ingredients of teamwork, fun, and excitement.
Enjoy some fun and unique challenges at ALPS. Groups love our Night Hikes, Ropes Course, Archery, BB rifles, Ziplines, Climbing Wall, and, Storytelling, and so much more.
