NO Pets are allowed with the exception of trained dogs for the seeing and hearing impaired.

Can we bring our own food or snacks?
Sorry – but our policy does not allow outside food! The good news is, we provide great meals and snacks as part of the package price!
A note from our food and beverage department:
It is the mission of Pine Summit Camp to provide the best camp experience we can for all who come stay with us. We strive to provide healthy food choices, using fresh proteins, fruits and vegetables to prepare well-balanced meals that the average person can enjoy. Alternative sweeteners, dairy-free milk and some sugar-free and low-sodium condiments are offered for our guests who may have special dietary restrictions. We also offer a full salad bar at lunch and dinner so that those who prefer a meat-less diet can still enjoy a good meal while at camp.
While we do all we can to meet the needs of our guests, we are not currently able to offer more restrictive foods such as gluten-free or organic items. With the large numbers of groups we feed every day, it is simply impossible for us to make accommodations of this sort at this time. However, Pine Summit provides refrigerator and freezer storage as well as a microwave in the North side of the Ponderosa Dining Room to accommodate guests who wish to bring their food with them.
If a camper with any group has extreme dietary restrictions that make it necessary to bring their own food to camp, please use the following guidelines:
- We have designated the white refrigerators in the NORTH SERVING AREA of Ponderosa for food storage. They are labeled “PERSONAL FOOD ONLY”
- All packaging must be marked with the camper’s name and group name
- Food must all be pre-cooked and/or pre-packaged and have clear instructions for heating in a microwave, if heating is necessary
- It is the parent or group leader’s responsibility to prepare the camper’s food. Children under the age of 14 may not prepare their own food.
- Children over the age of 14 may prepare their own food with adult supervision.
